The Bachelor of Radio and Television Journalism program at Rana University prepares students with practical and theoretical skills in broadcast journalism. The program focuses on radio and television production, reporting, presentation, and media content creation.
The Department of Radio and Television was established in 2013 within the Faculty of Journalism at Rana University. In 2017, the department began admitting students with the aim of strengthening applied journalism and integrating theoretical learning with practical media production.
The department provides students with practical training through modern radio and television studios and experienced media professionals. Students learn key skills such as news reporting, broadcasting, presenting, directing, documentary production, and multimedia content creation.
Students actively participate in producing radio and television programs which are broadcast through the Faculty of Journalism’s digital platforms including Facebook, YouTube, and the university website. The program aims to develop creative, professional journalists who can contribute effectively to modern media organizations.
