The campaign was designed to support patients and individuals in urgent need of blood, particularly those affected by accidents, surgical procedures, and other medical conditions requiring blood transfusion. The initiative also aimed to strengthen awareness of the vital role that voluntary blood donation plays in supporting healthcare services and saving lives.
Throughout the campaign, dozens of faculty members, staff, and students of Rana University voluntarily participated in this meaningful initiative. Their contribution demonstrated not only a sense of civic responsibility but also the university community’s commitment to humanitarian values, solidarity, and service to society.
From an academic and institutional perspective, such initiatives reflect the role of higher education institutions beyond the classroom. Universities serve as important platforms for cultivating social consciousness, ethical responsibility, public health awareness, and active citizenship among young people. Through initiatives such as blood donation campaigns, students and staff are encouraged to translate knowledge and values into meaningful action within their communities.
Rana University sincerely appreciates the cooperation and support of the Central Blood Bank and Behzad Hospital, as well as all faculty members, staff, and students who contributed to the success of this campaign.
The university remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote public health, social responsibility, and community well-being, and encourages all eligible individuals to consider regular voluntary blood donation as a practical contribution to saving lives.
